However, if you found a rare animal in the woods like a white tiger, white lion, black cheetah, or even a black leopard, it would be a treat for tourists.  Recently, Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve was blessed with the visit of a rare black leopard. The melanistic leopard was seen crossing the path of wildlife photographer Anurag Gawande. This was the second time the leopard was seen walking in the Tadoba woods. सिंहाला आपण जंगलाचा राजा म्हणून ओळखतो पण त्याच्याच तोडीस तोड असणारा प्राणी म्हणजे वाघ... सिंह आपल्याला एकटाच दिसतो तर वाघ आपल्या कुटुंबासमवेत जंगलात फिरताना दिसतो. वाघ, वाघीण त्यांच्या अंगा-खांद्यावर बागडताना किती सुंदर आणि लोभस दिसतात ना...  तर मित्रांनो आज आपण पाहू यात वाघांबद्दल काही तथ्यं जी तुम्हाला माहीत नसतील... पाहू यात कोणती आहेत ती... वाघ हे त्यांच्या क्षेत्राताबाबत फार संवेदनशील असतात. त्यांना आपल्या क्षेत्रात कुणी आलेले आवडत नाही. दुसरा प्राणी आलाच तर त्याच्यावर ते तुटून पडायलाही मागे पुढे पाहत नाहीत.  वाघामध्ये ३० फूटांपर्यंत लांब उडी मारण्याची क्षमता असते आणि ते वेगाने पोहूही शकतात. वाघाच्या अंगावरील पट्टे हे मानवी फिंगरप्रिंट्सप्रमाणे युनिक असतात. वाघ त्यांचे क्षेत्र मूत्राद्वारे, झाडावर निशाण किंवा गर्जना करुन ठरवतात. वाघाचे वय त्याच्या नाकाच्या रंगावरुन ठरवतात. तारुण्यात त्यांचे नाक गुलाबी रंगाचे असते, जसजसे त्यांचे वय वाढत जाते त्यांच्या नाकाचा रंग काळसर-तपकिरी होत जातो.  तर ही आहेत वाघांबद्दलची काही तथ्य... वाघ, जंगल सफारीबद्दल अधिक माहि

ऑफिस ते घर - घर ते ऑफिस या रुटीनला कंटाळला आहात? काही नवीन करावसं वाटतयं... मग वाट कसली पाहताय??? ताडोबा अभयारण्य तुमची वाट पाहत आहे. महाराष्ट्रातील नं. १ क्रमांकाचे ताडोबा जंगलातील जंगल सफारीला जा आणि मनमोहक वाघांना पाहण्याचा आनंद लुटा. एवढचं नाही झरना जंगल लॉज तुमची राहण्याची, खाण्याची तसेच जंगल सफारी घडवून आणण्याची सर्व व्यवस्था करण्यासाठी सज्ज आहे आणि तेही अल्प दरामध्ये.  पण टायगर सफारीला पोहोचण्यापूर्वी काही बाबींची काळजी घ्या. त्या आम्ही पुढे मांडत आहोत...   सफारी सीझनः ताडोबा जंगल सफारीसाठी योग्य सीजन म्हणजे योग्य वेळेत जाणे महत्त्वाचे आहे. जून ते ऑक्टोबर हा काळ ऑफ सीझन मानला जातो. खर सीझन सुरु होतं ते ऑक्टोबर नंतर. कपडे कोणते घालाल? जर तुम्ही मार्च ते मे हा काळ जंगल सफारीसाठी निवडलात तर तेव्हा उन्हाळा कडक असतो. अशावेळेस हलके कॉटनचे कपडे वापरा. शर्ट किंवा टीशर्ट पूर्ण हातभर असेल तर उत्तम आणि टोपीजवळ ठेवा. कीटकांपासून कशी काळजी घ्याल? ध्यानी ठेवा ताडोबा हे जंगल आहे. तेथे असंख्य प्रकारची किटकनाशकं आहेत. तेव्हा त्यांच्यापासून स्वतःचे रक्षण करण्यासाठी Insect Rep

जंगल म्हटलं की हिरवी घनदाट झाडे, पशू आणि पक्ष्यांचे राहण्याचे स्थान पण जेव्हा मनुष्याने जंगलात पाऊल टाकले, तेव्हापासून पशू आणि पक्ष्यांचे जगणे कठीण झाले. जंगल सफारीच्या नावाखाली अनेकांनी पर्यटनाचा बिझनेस थाटला. या बिझनेसमुळे अबोल असे पशू-पक्षी आपल्या घराला मुकले आणि एकूणच पर्यावरणाच्या -हासाला सुरुवात झाली आहे.  दरम्यान, 'झरना जंगल लॉज' या परिस्थितीला अपवाद ठरला आहे. पर्यावरणाला कोणताही धक्का लागणार नाही आणि पर्यावरणाचा समतोल साधून पर्यटनाचा व्यवसाय कसा करता येईल, याकडे 'झरना जंगल लॉज'ने जातीने लक्ष दिले. आणि त्यात ते उत्तमप्रकारे यशस्वी झाल्याचे दिसते. याचे मूर्तीमंत उदाहरण म्हणजे आमचे सर्व लॉज नापीक जमीनीवर बांधले असून पर्यावरणाला धक्का लागेल असे कोणतीही पाऊल आम्ही उचलले नाही आणि भविष्यातही उचलणार होणार नाही.  'झरना जंगल लॉज'च्या सभोवतालीच आम्ही छोटसं वनराई सुरु केली. त्यात अनेकप्रकारच्या वृक्ष आणि वनस्पतीची लागवड केली. आज ते वृक्ष सावली आणि फळं द्यायला लागली आहेत. तसेच लॉजच्या एका भागात हरीण, वन्य डुक्कर, जंगल मांजरी, वाघ, बिबळ्या, कोल्हा, पाम स

ताडोबा जंगल सफारीमध्ये कोणत्या गोष्टी कराव्यात आणि काय करु नये याबाबत... ताडोबा जंगल म्हटलं तर सर्वप्रथम डोळ्यासमोर येतं महाकाय आणि घनदाट जंगल आणि त्यामध्ये खेळणारे ,  आपल्या कुटुंबासमवेत बागडणारे वाघ आणि अन्य प्राणी... अशा वन्यप्राण्यांना काही अंतरावरुन पाहण्यासाठी आणि या साहसाचा अनुभव घेण्यासाठी  ' झरना जंगल लॉज ' ने तुमच्या-आमच्यासारख्या पर्यटकांसाठी ताडोबा जंगल सफारी सुरु केली आहे ;  पण ताडोबा जंगल सफारीचे हे साहस उत्तमरित्या पूर्ण करण्यासाठी काही गोष्टी केल्या पाहिजेत आणि काही बाबी करायच्या टाळल्या पाहिजेत... त्या काय आहेत पाहू यात पुढीलप्रमाणे... हे नक्की करा... तुमचे कपडे जंगल थीमप्रमाणे असले पाहिजेतः   ताडोबा जंगल सफारीमध्ये येण्यापूर्वी तुम्ही जे कपडे निवडाल ते जंगल थीमप्रमाणे असले पाहिजेत किंवा तुमचे कपडे लष्कराच्या गणवेशासारखे असले तर उत्तमोत्तम. कारण काही गडद किंवा उठावदार रंगानी प्राणी गोंधळू शकतात म्हणून शक्यतो ,  अशी कपडे परिधान करावीत. कॅमेराः   जंगल सफारीचा अनुभव तुमच्याकडे असावा यासाठी कॅमेरासोबत ठेवा. याद्वारे तुम्ही चांगले फोटोही काढू शकत
